The Digital Open was a 2009 online innovation expo held by the Institute For The Future, Sun Microsystems, and Boing Boing. My winning entry to the games division of the competition was The Sneaky Card: a reverse pick-pocketing game for playful settings. Other cards in the deck contained further challenges based on social interaction. Xeni Jardin interviewed me and the folks at Boing Boing kindly spliced together all the prompted sappy bits of our conversation, which hopefully explains the sudden shift in tone and sanity halfway through the video.
